My dear friend and band-mate Danny B wrote a song to memorialize the journey taken by Martin Luther King Jr. to the election of President Barack Obama. It was arranged by Brent Barkman, and produced by Brent, Danny, and myself.

Here's the original version of Nancy, Nancy. Produced by Jack Richardson, and featuring Russ Boswell on bass, Charlie Cooley on drums, and Bill McCauley on keys. Bill passed away the day after this song was recorded.

 

I will soon be re-recording this tune, but this version is definitely a collector's item, and I'm very proud of the way it turned out.
